Obtained dismissal of lender’s forcible detainer (eviction) petition.

Obtained take nothing verdict in claims by contractor against homeowner association management company.

Successfully protested county claim for 20 years of past due taxes and reduced tax liability from approximately $187,000.00 to approximately $120.00.

Successfully protested previous year’s tax appraised value on multiple parcels of property reducing appraised value from $1,716,850.00 to $9,370.00.

Obtained take nothing verdict on claim for negligence and gross negligence against homeowner association and management company. Obtained judgment on counterclaims for breach of contract and attorney fees.

Obtained summary judgment on behalf of homeowner association to enforce associations restrictive covenants.

Obtained Texas Department of Insurance dismissal of all claims against loan officer and mortgage lender before the State Office of Administrative Hearings

Recovered lender’s $243,824.00 deposited at title company from the Texas Title Insurance Guaranty Assn. after closing of title company.

REPRESENTATIVE MATTERS

On behalf of oil and gas investors obtained a $1,500,000.00 trial verdict against officer/director of corporation.

On behalf of savings and loan association and governmental financial institution obtained summary dismissal of borrowers claim.

On behalf of individual guarantor of commercial lease negotiated the dismissal of lawsuit without payment to plaintiff.

On behalf of national mortgage lender obtained the summary dismissal of plaintiff’s claims including attempts to set aside the mortgage lender’s lien.

Negotiated favorable settlement agreement on behalf of defendant securities broker after plaintiff’s fraud claim dismissed on directed verdict.

In a personal injury case obtained the dismissal of third party auto mechanic in pretrial hearing.

Obtained take nothing verdict on behalf of landlord in lawsuit involving tenant claims of bad faith.
